Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, is expected to visit Gambia today, January 17, 2025.
The visit is supposed to provide the two countries an opportunity to discuss how to further strengthen The Gambia-Ghana bilateral relations.
This was contained in a statement shared by the Gambian government.
The Ghanaian president is expected to be in Gambia for a day.

Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama to Visit The Gambia
The Office of the President hereby informs the public that H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, will embark on a day’s working visit to The Gambia tomorrow at 11:45 A.M.
President Barrow will receive the visiting Head of State at the Banjul International Airport and later host him at a State luncheon.
The two Heads of State will hold a tete-a-tete meeting to discuss ways to further strengthen The Gambia-Ghana bilateral relations”.
