The Accra Circuit Court Eleven has remanded two suspects, Ben Ojogbo, also known as Ben, and Stephen Lartey, alias Tetteh Teima, over their alleged involvement in an armed robbery targeting a couple in Dzorwulu.

The two accused, aged 41 and 40 respectively, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and have pleaded not guilty. They are currently in custody assisting with ongoing investigations.
According to the prosecution, led by Chief Inspector Daniel Ofori-Appiah, the complainants, Mr and Mrs Addo, reside at Achimota Golf Hills, while the accused reportedly lived in Nima. A third suspect, Eric Agyekum, is currently on the run and is believed to have received the stolen items.
The court heard that on September 27, 2025, the complainants had parked their Toyota Land Cruiser near Janem Salon and Spa at Dzorwulu before going on a morning walk. About 10 minutes later, the two suspects, allegedly riding an unregistered Royal motorbike, attacked them, with Ojogbo reportedly wielding a machete.
The attackers are said to have stolen several valuables, including an iPhone 16 Pro Max valued at GH¢16,000, a Samsung S25 Ultra worth GH¢30,000, an earpod valued at US$250, a Samsung Galaxy Watch S25 Ultra valued at US$250, and the vehicle key. The items were reportedly kept in a waist bag during the incident.
Police say the victims immediately reported the robbery at the Dzorwulu Police Post. Investigations later led to the arrest of Ojogbo and Lartey on January 14, 2026, in connection with a separate case.
During interrogation, the suspects allegedly admitted to the robbery and claimed they sold the stolen items at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, sharing the proceeds among themselves. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the third suspect, Eric Agyekum, while the two accused remain in custody as the case continues.
