The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs as it continues to deliver on its national development mandate.
In line with this objective, the Chief Executive Officer of GEA, Ms. Margaret Ansei, together with her deputies and staff, paid a working visit to Solutions Oasis Limited, a Ghanaian-owned company specializing in the processing of shea butter and cocoa butter into premium skincare and personal care products.
During the visit, Ms. Ansei commended the impressive growth and operational progress of the company, which is led by its Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Francesca Brenda Opoku. She noted that the adoption of Kaizen principles — a Japanese management philosophy focused on continuous improvement — has significantly enhanced efficiency within the company’s operations.
According to Ms. Ansei, the success of Solutions Oasis demonstrates how structured productivity tools, when combined with targeted institutional support, can strengthen MSMEs and empower women-led businesses across the country.
Ms. Francesca Brenda Opoku, in her remarks, attributed the company’s improved productivity and streamlined operations to the effective implementation of Kaizen practices, as well as the consistent technical and capacity-building support received from the Ghana Enterprises Agency.
She expressed appreciation to GEA for its continued guidance, describing the partnership as instrumental in positioning Solutions Oasis for sustainable growth and competitiveness in both local and international markets.
The engagement reaffirmed the critical role of collaboration between GEA and beneficiary enterprises in promoting innovation, productivity, and long-term business sustainability within Ghana’s MSME ecosystem.
