The embattled former Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company Limited, Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, has officially withdrawn her lawsuit against the company and its acting MD, James Agyenim-Boateng.
Duah-Yentumi had sued SIC PLC, challenging what she described as the unlawful termination of her contract and seeking full payment of her salary and benefits for the unexpired term.
She argued that her four-year tenure, which was set to expire in 2028, was wrongfully cut short without due process.
Her lawsuit also sought a declaration that Agyenim-Boateng’s appointment as acting MD was unlawful.
However, she has now decided to drop the legal challenge.
While the reasons for her withdrawal remain unclear, the development brings an unexpected twist to the leadership dispute at SIC Insurance.
