Hon. Odoley Sowah has been nominated for the position of Deputy Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, while Hon. John Dumelo will serve as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture. Hon. Yusif Jajah is set to take up the role of Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.
In a statement signed by the Regional Communication Officer, Jerry Johnson, the NDC in the Greater Accra Region expressed immense pride in the nominations, emphasizing confidence in the appointees’ ability to excel in their respective roles.
“We feel honored by these nominations and have confidence in your capabilities to deliver on your assignments, justifying the trust reposed in you by H.E. the President,” the statement read.
The party also expressed optimism that these appointments would open new doors of opportunity in the region while paving the way for others to benefit from the achievements of the newly appointed Deputy Ministers.
Furthermore, the Greater Accra NDC conveyed its gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for recognizing the dedication and hard work of party members in the region. The statement called on NDC supporters to rally behind the newly appointed leaders to ensure the success of their respective ministries.
“As compatriots in the region, we pledge our support and contributions to the success of your ministries,” the statement concluded.
The nominations of Odoley Sowah, Dumelo, and Jajah are expected to strengthen the NDC’s governance team as they prepare to assume office.
