A prophecy by Prophet Telvin Adjei Sowah, leader of the Prophetic Life Embassy, has gone viral following the reported detention of former Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, by immigration officials in the United States.

In a widely shared video recorded earlier, Prophet Adjei Sowah emphatically stated that Ofori-Atta would be returned to Ghana on the 16th of a particular month to face justice over allegations levelled against him.
“I have seen him being handled in court… 16th, 16th, 16th, the number I’m looking at is the 16th of a month; he will be before us in Ghana,” the prophet declared.
According to him, Ofori-Atta’s return would not be straightforward, as unforeseen circumstances would delay his journey. He specifically mentioned airport-related restrictions that would prolong the former minister’s travel by two days before his eventual arrival in Ghana.
“There is a situation that will happen. I am not seeing how they found him, but I’m seeing airport restriction. That airport restriction is what caused two days’ travelling into Ghana. So it took him two days to get to Ghana—so let’s say 14th, 15th, 16th, he is here,” Prophet Adjei Sowah explained.
The resurfacing of the prophecy has sparked intense public debate following reports of Ofori-Atta’s detention abroad. The former finance minister is a suspect in multiple criminal investigations being conducted by Ghana’s Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP). He has been declared wanted, with an Interpol Red Notice issued to facilitate his arrest and return to Ghana.
As of now, authorities have not formally announced the exact date of Ofori-Atta’s return to Ghana, but the prophecy’s focus on the 16th of the month continues to dominate public discourse.
