The Bring Back Mahama Group and Friends of Mahama have called on Ghanaians to remain focused on national development and the government’s Reset Agenda, rather than engaging in debates about a potential third term for President John Dramani Mahama.

In a joint statement released today, the groups, known for their unwavering support for President Mahama, emphasized that the country’s current challenges demand unity, discipline, and a constructive approach from all citizens.
“At this critical moment in our nation’s history, our primary focus remains supporting President John Dramani Mahama to reset Ghana, rebuild trust in leadership, strengthen the economy, and restore hope to the Ghanaian people,” the statement said.
The groups urged supporters, party faithful, and well-wishers to channel their energy into assisting the government to deliver on key priorities, including economic recovery, job creation, institutional reforms, and social protection.
The statement also reaffirmed President Mahama’s commitment to the Constitution and democratic governance, noting that the groups’ loyalty is to his leadership and vision, not personal ambition. “Our loyalty is not to ambition, but to results, integrity, and leadership that improves the lives of Ghanaians,” the statement read.
While the groups expressed readiness to support President Mahama should he decide to offer himself for service again, they stressed that their current focus remains ensuring the success of the Reset Agenda for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
The statement concluded with a call for unity, peace, and prioritization of national interests: “We urge all Ghanaians to remain united, peaceful, and committed to national development, and to place Ghana first in all discussions and actions.”
