President John Dramani Mahama is also expected to commission the Ahmadiyya Poultry Project at Gomoa Pomadze on the same day he cuts the sod for the Gomoa Central Special Economic Zone.

According to Gomoa Central MP, Kwame Asare Obeng, the project is a modern, automated poultry and livestock farm designed to create employment, boost local meat production, and reduce Ghana’s dependence on imported meat.
With its advanced technology and large scale, the poultry project has the potential to become one of the biggest poultry farms in West Africa.
The MP said the initiative aligns with the President’s vision of economic transformation through industrialisation and agribusiness, adding that Gomoa Central is fast becoming a hub for investment and job creation in the Central Region.
He concluded by thanking President Mahama for the visit and expressed hope that the President would return to the constituency again soon.
