A majority of Ghanaians remain optimistic about the nation’s direction, with 66 per cent believing the country is heading in the right direction, according to the December 2025 National Tracking Poll by Global InfoAnalytics.
The survey, conducted among 13,495 voters across all 16 regions and 83 constituencies, shows that optimism has remained stable since the previous quarter. Confidence is widespread, with every region recording a majority that believes Ghana is moving forward.
The Upper West Region registered the highest confidence level at 81 per cent, followed by the Savannah Region at 79 per cent. Even in the Ashanti Region, widely regarded as an opposition stronghold, 45 per cent of voters expressed confidence in the country’s trajectory.
However, the optimism is sharply divided along partisan lines. While 91 per cent of NDC supporters believe Ghana is on the right course, 61 per cent of NPP supporters disagree. Floating voters largely share the positive outlook, with 68 per cent saying the country is headed in the right direction.
