The Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, has provided an update on the ongoing staff rationalization at his ministry, which currently has over 3,000 employees, including those in its agencies.
The Ningo-Prampram Member of Parliament expressed concern over the recruitment of 600 staff members after December 7, 2024, prompting him to initiate a cleanup to enhance efficiency.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, March 25, he revealed that he had authorized the termination
of nearly 100 staff members at Ghana Post and intends to continue the process to streamline the ministry’s operations.
