The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has made a compelling call to Ghanaians to elect Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President in the December 7 elections, describing him as the most capable leader to secure Ghana’s future.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh, widely referred to as NAPO, spoke passionately at the NPP’s final rally held at the University of Ghana Sports Park on December 5. He emphasized the significance of this election for Ghana’s destiny, urging citizens to make a decisive choice.
“Bawumia is the only one prepared for the future. Vote for him. The heavens must answer,” NAPO declared. “December 7 is not just about the present; it’s about the future of Ghana—it’s your future, it’s our future.”
Samira Bawumia Endorses Husband’s Vision
Adding her voice to the campaign, Second Lady Samira Bawumia expressed deep confidence in her husband’s ability to lead the nation with dedication and integrity.
Addressing party faithful at the same rally in Accra, Samira spoke of Dr. Bawumia’s relentless work ethic and genuine commitment to Ghana’s development.
“I know him very, very well. I have watched him work tirelessly—day and night, seven days a week, from morning till night,” she said. “This man will apply himself. He will not let you down. Dr. Bawumia means what he says, and he says what he means. He will do right by the people of this country.”
The rally marked the final push by the NPP to galvanize support ahead of the polls, with party leaders and supporters optimistic about a decisive victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
