The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has commended the authority’s staff for their active participation in the National General Cleaning Exercise and urged them to maintain the momentum as the campaign enters its second day.

The NYA joined the nationwide sanitation exercise as part of the government’s efforts to promote a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable Ghana through collective civic responsibility.
In a Facebook post after the first day of the exercise, Mr. Ayariga expressed appreciation to the authority’s staff and management for their commitment to the clean-up campaign.
“Thank you to the wonderful team at the National Youth Authority for this cleanup exercise! Let us keep our society clean. Squeaky Clean!” he wrote.
In a subsequent post, the NYA CEO again praised the dedication of the staff, stating: “Squeaky Clean!! Thank you to staff and management of National Youth Authority! Tomorrow will be the day two of the National General Cleaning Exercise.”
The National General Cleaning Exercise forms part of the government’s broader initiative to improve environmental sanitation and encourage citizens and institutions to take greater responsibility for keeping their communities clean.
The participation of the National Youth Authority underscores its commitment to supporting national development initiatives while encouraging young people to lead by example in promoting environmental cleanliness and responsible citizenship.
