The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has declared one Joseph Owusu Badu wanted in connection with allegations of investment fraud.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, June 16, 2026, and shared via its official social media platform, EOCO said the suspect is being sought for his alleged involvement in investment-related fraudulent activities.
According to the statement, Joseph Owusu Badu is wanted by the anti-graft agency to assist with ongoing investigations into the case. EOCO urged members of the public who may have information on his whereabouts to come forward and support efforts leading to his arrest.
“The above-named person is wanted by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for the alleged offence of Investment Fraud,” the notice stated.
EOCO further encouraged anyone with useful information to contact its Head Office near the Old Parliament House on Barnes Road in Accra, any of its regional offices, or the nearest police station.
The agency also provided contact numbers for members of the public to report tips that may aid investigations.
EOCO has been intensifying efforts in recent years to clamp down on financial crimes, including investment scams and other forms of economic and organised crime across the country.
