The Volta Regional Communications Outfit convened an insightful and impactful workshop today at the Residency, bringing together key communicators and agency heads for a comprehensive briefing on the region’s development trajectory. The session served as a platform to highlight ongoing projects, review policy directions, and align communication strategies with the broader developmental agenda of the region.
During the workshop, heads of various agencies delivered updates on critical sectors, with particular emphasis on employment opportunities, capacity-building initiatives, and forward-looking policies designed to enhance livelihoods across the region. These presentations not only showcased progress made so far but also outlined ambitious plans set to be rolled out in the near future.
A major highlight of the event was the address by the Regional Minister, who sponsored the workshop as part of a deliberate effort to maintain consistent engagement with communicators on a quarterly basis. In a detailed and thought-provoking presentation, the Minister conducted a comparative analysis of manifesto promises, shedding light on projects already underway, those successfully completed, and others yet to commence—all within the context of the Volta Region’s development priorities.
Participants expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, noting that the timely and transparent sharing of information equips them with the knowledge and clarity needed to effectively communicate the region’s progress. Many emphasized that such engagements are instrumental in projecting the Volta Region in a positive light, both locally and nationally.
Overall, the workshop reinforced the importance of collaboration, transparency, and proactive communication in driving regional development and ensuring that citizens remain informed and engaged in the resetting agenda.
