Minister for Education Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu are recovering after their convoy was involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday dawn.
The crash occurred along the Bolgatanga-Tumu road as the ministers journeyed to the Upper West Region for the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education.
Sources indicate that emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, ensuring that all affected individuals received immediate medical attention. Officials have since confirmed that the ministers and all members of the convoy are in stable condition.
The Office of the Education Minister has extended appreciation to first responders, health workers, and well-wishers for their timely intervention and continued support.
