The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) has refuted social media claims alleging that the organisation owes its staff six months’ salary arrears.
In a public statement issued on Friday, November 21, 2025, MASLOC described the allegation — contained in a Facebook post — as “inaccurate and misleading.”
According to the statement, no such situation exists within the organisation, and the narrative being circulated does not reflect the reality on the ground.
MASLOC noted that it maintains regular engagement with its staff on all operational matters and insisted that there is no basis for the claims being made.
Management, therefore, urged the public to disregard the publication.
