David Sitsofe Tamakloe, Editor of the New Republic newspaper, has emerged as the new President of the Private Newspaper Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG).
In the keenly contested election, Tamakloe secured 87 votes, defeating his challenger, Awudu Mahama, who garnered 34 votes.
Other elected executives include Michael Antwi Agyei, who takes up the position of Vice President, and Prince Mayembe Kaunda, who will serve as the Organizing Secretary.
Naana Akleh Fordia was chosen as Treasurer, while Emmanuel Opare Gyan was elected to handle the role of Public Affairs Officer.
