President of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has engaged in high-level discussions with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), at the ongoing Africa Health Sovereignty Summit.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the summit, which brings together African leaders, policymakers, and global health experts to strategize on strengthening the continent’s healthcare systems and ensuring health independence.
Their engagement focused on deepening collaboration towards equitable healthcare delivery, pandemic preparedness, and Africa’s capacity to manufacture vaccines and essential medical supplies.
