Africa Macro Intelligence (AMI) has announced the launch of the AMI West Africa Book Donation Tour, an educational and intellectual initiative designed to bring serious economic thought into classrooms and lecture halls across Togo, Benin and Nigeria.

The tour will feature the donation of Lord Fiifi Quayle’s book, Pricing Uncertainty: Black–Scholes, Risk, and the Future of African Finance, to selected secondary schools and universities across the three countries.
The initiative forms part of AMI’s broader commitment to strengthening Africa’s intellectual infrastructure and encouraging young Africans to engage critically with the economic forces, risks and opportunities shaping the continent’s future.
Lord Fiifi Quayle, Founder and Chief Analyst of Africa Macro Intelligence and author of Pricing Uncertainty, will lead the tour, engaging directly with students, academics and young professionals through a programme combining book donations, lectures, student dialogues and economic discussions.
The programme will also create opportunities for young people to share their own perspectives on Africa’s economic future and to engage with questions around financial markets, risk, uncertainty and economic development.
“The purpose is bigger than the book,” Lord Fiifi Quayle said. “We want African ideas to travel. We want young Africans to encounter serious economic thinking and, more importantly, to understand that they too have a responsibility to question the economic assumptions that shape their societies.”
FROM TOGO TO BENIN AND NIGERIA
The tour will begin in Togo, before continuing to Benin and Nigeria, bringing AMI’s educational engagement directly to students and institutions across the three countries.
Beyond the book donations and public engagements, AMI will document the views and perspectives of students throughout the tour as part of a special initiative, West Africa Student Economic Perspectives.
The initiative will seek to capture how young Africans understand the continent’s principal economic challenges, risks and opportunities. The insights gathered will contribute to a future AMI publication examining the economic outlook through the eyes of Africa’s next generation.
Through the tour, AMI seeks not only to distribute a book, but to stimulate conversation, curiosity and independent economic thinking among young Africans.
The organisation believes that Africa’s economic future will depend not only on capital, policy and institutions, but also on the quality of ideas being developed and debated by its young people.
The AMI West Africa Book Donation Tour therefore represents another step in the organisation’s mission to promote evidence-based thinking, strengthen economic literacy and contribute to a more resilient African intellectual and economic ecosystem.
Evidence. Insight. Resilience.
