Heavy security at EC as NPP protests to demand election results

The office of the Electoral Commission is under heavy security to safeguard its processes as it collates results of the general elections.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called the Chairperson of the EC, Mrs. Charlotte Osei to immediately declare the results as the collated results put Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Provisional results collated by various media houses indicate that Nana Addo is in a narrow lead over President John Mahama.
