The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, William Quaitoo, accused of making disparaging remarks against northerners has resigned.
President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, this evening accepted the resignation letter from the office of the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Hon. William Quaitoo, MP, which takes immediate effect.
Communications director at the Flagstaff House confirmed his resignation Monday evening via Facebook.
Earlier today, the National Peace Council in a chat with GhanaPoliticsonline.com ,pleaded on his behalf for forgiveness but it appears the plea fell on the death ears of the president His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.
