The National Organizer of the ruling NPP, Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has lauded the Majority Leader of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, for demonstrating great and competent leadership in the House.
According to him, Hon. Afenyo-Markin’s leadership during the recent controversy over vacant seats in Parliament exemplifies competence and exceptional guidance.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s political talk show Ekosiisen, hosted by Osei Bonsu Esq., Nana B expressed gratitude to Afenyo-Markin for bringing finality to the parliamentary impasse through the court.
“I want to acknowledge the great and competent leadership of Afenyo-Markin for bringing finality to the impasse in Parliament through the court. This is the strong leadership we need in the party. Afenyo-Markin is sharp and visionary in how he handled the entire issue,” he said.
Nana B, however, urged the Speaker of Parliament to accept the court’s ruling and recall the House as a matter of urgency to address critical government business.
“I urge Mr. Speaker to show leadership, recall Parliament, sit with leadership, and resolve every impasse in the nation’s interest. As an officer of the court, Speaker Bagbin should obey the court’s ruling and conclude his tenure without any chaos,” he added
