Assistant Traffic Operations Manager of Metro Mass Transit Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Tenacity Group of Companies, Wilson Wisdom Adzedakor, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency.
Announcing his decision ahead of the party’s upcoming constituency executive elections, Mr. Adzedakor said his campaign would be anchored on job creation, intelligence gathering, effective communication, and trusted, quality leadership.
According to him, his vision is to rebrand the constituency’s communication outfit by providing strategic leadership that will strengthen the party’s engagement with members and the general public.
“I hereby officially declare my intention to contest for the position of Constituency Communications Officer in the upcoming NDC North Tongu Constituency Executives Elections with the aim of rebranding the communication outfit and providing trusted and quality leadership,” he stated.
Mr. Adzedakor stressed that effective communication and intelligence gathering are critical pillars for the success of every political organization, adding that he is prepared to bring energy, creativity, teamwork, timely communication and strategic publicity to support both the party and the government.
He further pledged to prioritize job creation and build a vibrant communications team capable of effectively promoting the achievements and policies of the NDC while strengthening grassroots engagement.
The Communications Officer hopeful highlighted his extensive political, student leadership and professional experience as qualifications for the role.
He noted that he previously served as a North Tongu District Chief Executive aspirant in 2025 and has been the North Tongu Constituency Deputy Communications Officer since 2022. He also served as President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) and President of the Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS) between 2013 and 2014.
In addition, Mr. Adzedakor said he has over two decades of experience as a social media activist, has authored thousands of publications promoting the image of the NDC, and possesses more than 25 years of corporate management experience, including service at senior management level.
He believes these experiences have equipped him with the skills to transform the constituency’s communication machinery and improve coordination among party members.
“As the current Deputy Communications Officer, I have represented the party on several platforms over the years. I am committed to ensuring effective communication, teamwork, strategic marketing, quality leadership and creating the needed job opportunities,” he said.
Mr. Adzedakor called on delegates and party members to support his candidature, expressing confidence that a united communications team would help position the NDC for victory in the 2028 general elections.
“Together, we can amplify our message, inspire confidence, create the needed job opportunities, and achieve victory in 2028,” he concluded.
