The Member of Parliament for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has commissioned three new school blocks and two Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds in the constituency, marking another significant milestone in efforts to improve education and healthcare delivery in the area.

The newly commissioned school facilities include a Kindergarten block at Srodofo Abaasa, a six-unit Basic School block at Okyiriku, and a three-unit Junior High School block at Emprio. The projects are expected to enhance teaching and learning by providing safe and conducive environments for pupils and teachers.
Speaking at the ceremonies, the MP emphasized his commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure across the constituency, noting that investing in the future of children remains a top priority.
In addition to the educational projects, two CHPS compounds were also commissioned at Nyamedom and Abakah. To ensure effective healthcare delivery, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu donated modern medical equipment to both facilities to support health workers in providing quality care to residents.
Over the weekend, the MP also cut sod for the commencement of work on the 12.1-kilometre Asebu to Brimsu road. The road project, which passes through several communities within the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese Constituency, is expected to significantly improve transportation, boost local economic activities, and enhance connectivity in the area.
Residents who attended the events expressed appreciation for the development initiatives, describing them as timely interventions that will positively impact education, healthcare, and mobility in the constituency.
The series of projects underscores the MP’s ongoing commitment to advancing infrastructure and social services in Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese.
