Ghana has taken a significant step toward strengthening its investment climate following the President’s assent to the new Ghana Investment Promotion Authority (GIPA) Act, a landmark piece of legislation that repeals the former Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Act.
The newly enacted law is expected to usher in a new era for investment promotion by modernizing Ghana’s regulatory framework and positioning the country as one of Africa’s most attractive destinations for local and foreign investment.
The GIPA Act introduces streamlined investment procedures designed to reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks, making it easier for investors to establish, operate, and expand businesses in Ghana.
