Renowned broadcaster Philip Osei Bonsu, popularly known as OB and host of Ekosiisen on Asempa 94.7 FM, has stirred fresh political conversation following observations he made at a high-profile funeral over the weekend.
Speaking on his show, OB disclosed that one of the key things he closely monitored during the final funeral rites of Andrews Kwame Amankwah—father-in-law of Sammy Gyamfi—was the presence and reception of individuals being tipped as potential presidential candidates for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2028 elections.
According to him, particular attention was drawn to Eric Opoku, the Member of Parliament for Asunafo South and current Minister for Food and Agriculture, who arrived at the event in the company of prominent businessman Ibrahim Mahama.
