In a dramatic turn of events, former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Gifty Oware-Aboagye, has reportedly knelt before the Attorney General, pleading for leniency and promising to refund stolen funds belonging to the scheme.
According to reliable sources, Gifty Oware expressed remorse for her role in the alleged financial misconduct and vowed to make full restitution to avoid a possible jail sentence.
She is said to have assured the Attorney General that she would cooperate fully with investigators and provide evidence against her former boss, Osei Assibey Antwi, the former Executive Director of the National Service Scheme.
According to Blakk Rasta. Gifty Oware admitted that some irregular financial transactions occurred during her tenure but claimed she acted under instructions.
