President John Dramani Mahama has called on Ghanaians to embrace unity, compassion, and mutual support in order to build a stronger and more hopeful nation.
Speaking at the Good Friday Miracle Service organized by Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills at the Black Star Square, the President emphasized the need for solidarity and love among citizens.
Quoting Galatians 6:2 from the New King James Version of the Bible – “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” – Mr. Mahama urged Ghanaians to go beyond individual concerns and look out for each other.
“We must assist each other, we must help each other, and show love to each other,” he declared, drawing applause from the thousands gathered at the religious event.
Mr. Mahama also expressed optimism about Ghana’s future, stating confidently, “Ghana will rise again.” His words served as both a spiritual and patriotic encouragement, resonating deeply with the crowd on a day marked by reflection and faith.
