Special Aide to the President, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has said that President John Dramani Mahama has proven that he is committed to transparency and accountability.
Her comment comes on the back of the President’s declaration of his assets today, February 18, 2025, to the Auditor General Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu.
“The President submitted his assets declaration form to the Auditor General this morning at the Presidency. This communicates his commitment to transparency and accountability as a key component of his presidency.”
Meanwhile, the President has warned his appointees to declare theirs before March 31, 2025, or face his wrath.
The President will not hesitate to remove any of his appointees if they fail to declare their assets before the deadline given.
“Any appointee who fails to meet the asset declaration deadline will face serious sanctions, not excluding removal from office,” Mahama warned.
