President Faure Gnassingbé of Togo has arrived in Accra to participate in the Presidential Session of the ongoing African Prosperity Dialogues 2025.
The Togolese leader was received at the Jubilee Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport by Ghana’s Minister for the Interior, Hon. Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, and Hon. Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide and Presidential Advisor.
The African Prosperity Dialogues serve as a high-level platform for African leaders, policymakers, and business executives to engage in discussions aimed at fostering economic growth, trade integration, and sustainable development across the continent. This year’s event is expected to focus on strengthening intra-African trade, industrialization, and innovation under the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
President Gnassingbé’s participation underscores Togo’s commitment to regional economic collaboration and efforts to enhance trade partnerships within Africa. His presence at the summit is anticipated to bring key insights into West Africa’s economic resilience and strategies for fostering sustainable development.
The Presidential Session, which brings together several heads of state and government, will address critical challenges and opportunities facing Africa’s economic transformation. The event is expected to highlight policy recommendations and initiatives that will drive the continent’s prosperity agenda.
President Gnassingbé will join Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama and other African leaders in deliberations aimed at strengthening regional cooperation, economic empowerment, and investment opportunities for the continent.
