Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State and President of the Asogli Traditional Area, has commended President John Dramani Mahama for his efforts in combating corruption and recovering stolen state lands and properties through the introduction of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL)
The ORAL Committee, tasked with investigating suspected corruption and validating information on stolen public resources, is currently processing over 700 petitions from the public.
Speaking during President Mahama’s ‘Thank You Tour’ in the Volta Region on Friday, January 24, Togbe Afede XIV expressed his full support for the President’s commitment to fighting corruption and restoring accountability.
“ORAL was great news for all of us. It’s bad enough to suffer, but it’s worse to know that you are suffering because a few people think they deserve all that the state has to offer and get themselves involved in a desperate scramble for our limited resources under property-owning democracy.
