The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma WestUrsula Owusu-Ekuful,, has strongly denied reports of food being distributed by her team to voters during the ongoing 2024 elections.
Earlier reports suggested that packs of breakfast, allegedly from the MP, were driven away amidst hooting from some voters at the Assemblies of God Church polling station in the Ablekuma West Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
However, in a press release, the MP described the allegations as reckless and unfounded.
The MP specifically stated that no such incident occurred, adding that the claim was a fabrication intended to mislead the public and damage her reputation.
Ursula Owusu-Ekuful reiterated her commitment to serving her constituents with integrity and stated that logistical support provided on election day was well-received.
