Rev. F.D. Yalley Predicts Victory for John Mahama Despite NDC’s Lack of ‘Spiritual Gatekeepers’
The Leader and Founder of Bridge Ministries International, Rev. F.D. Yalley, has made a bold declaration about the December elections, asserting that John Mahama, the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will emerge victorious despite the party’s lack of “spiritual gatekeepers.”
In an exclusive interview with Agyemang Prempeh on XYZ TV, Rev. Yalley noted that the absence of spiritual fortification within the NDC contrasts sharply with the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) approach, which he described as strategically bolstered by spiritual interventions.
“President Akufo-Addo, for example, struggled to win elections until the NPP’s spiritual gatekeepers intervened to remove the spiritual barriers preventing his presidency,” Rev. Yalley stated.
He referenced public declarations by notable pastors like Rev. Owusu Bempah, who once revealed the spiritual battles waged to secure Akufo-Addo’s victory.
According to Rev. Yalley, while the NDC boasts prophets who admire and honor party stalwarts like the late John Evans Atta Mills and John Mahama, they lack the spiritual figures willing to wage the battles necessary for electoral success.
He drew a parallel with the Bible, citing the story of Elijah and Elisha. “When God instructed Elijah to anoint Elisha, it signified a transfer of spiritual authority to accomplish divine tasks. Similarly, the absence of gatekeepers in the NDC leaves a gap that could have otherwise ensured a smoother path to victory,” Rev. Yalley explained, adding that “the Akufo-Addo we know in opposition is not the same Akufo-Addo who became president, spiritually speaking.”
Rev. Yalley further alleged that many clergy members, aware of Mahama’s spiritual triumph in the upcoming election, remain silent due to their allegiance to the NPP. “They know Mahama has already won in the spiritual realm, but as gatekeepers for the NPP, they cannot speak out,” he remarked.
