Replace Your Lost Voter ID Cards At District Offices – EC

The EC has again reminded the public that it is an offence to engage in multiple registration.

It says culprits will be dealt with in accordance with the law, where their names will be removed from the Voters Register for a period of five (5) years.

The EC says the limited registration is only for first time applicants.

A statement signed by the Deputy Chairman in Charge of Operations, Amadu Sulley said registered voters with misplaced ID cards are to visit the nearest EC district office for a replacement.

Applicants will be required to pay GH¢ 5.00 into the Commission’s Bank Account and take the deposit slip to the district office of the Commission where one will be registered for on the spot printing and collection of the new voter ID card.
