I have a lot to offer – E.T Mensah replies critics

Former Member of Parliament for Ningo/Prampram Constituency Enoch Teye Mensah has said that he is contesting to be the Greater Accra Regional representative on the Council of State because he believes he can work with President Nana Addo to fulfil his campaign promises.

The former NDC MP who served in Parliament for 20 years said he believes the experience he gained in the past years will help him serve efficiently.

When asked if he can work with the NPP he responded said he has worked with both NDC and NPP peacefully during his political life. He added that this situation cannot be any different.

“If we are able to work together at the Assembly level and in Parliament [why not]?” he said, adding as Sports Minister he had a good relation with NPP MPs.

The founding member of the NDC lost the party’s November 7, 2016, parliamentary primaries to his protégé Sam George who is now the MP.

In the Notice of Poll published by the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC), ET Mensah’s picture appears fourth in the right column.
