Eid al-Adha: Be inspired to give back to humanity something bigger than yourselves –John Mahama to Muslims

Former President John Dramani Mahama has called on Muslims in the country to be inspired by the Eid-al-Adha celebration to give back to humanity.
He said they must make a sacrifice of something that is bigger than themselves.
In a message on Facebook, the former President stated: “As we safely celebrate with family and loved ones, may our prayers be answered and our sacrifices be acceptable to Allah. May we be inspired by the sacrifice to give back to humanity, something that is bigger than ourselves.”

He urges Muslims to tap into the value of obedience, sacrifice and Allah’s divine mercy the occasion brings.
“The Eid reminds us of the value of obedience, sacrifice and Allah’s divine mercy.
“Above all, may Allah accept our prayers, heal our world and bless our homeland Ghana,” he stated.
