DCEs to provide ‘koko’, sugar and transport as Bawumia meets Muslims

Vice-president of Ghana Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia will be embarking on a Zongo to Zongo tour to fraternize with Muslims as part of Ramadan activities which has become a burden to District and Municipal Chief executives as they are expected to provide food for the gatherings and share items such as sugar, milk, rice and also sponsor transportation of participants

The Vice President is visiting the region as part of a nationwide Ramadan tour on Saturday 19th May.

1:00pm ; Aflao mosque
3:00pm; Ho Central mosque.
MCEc are to transport moslems in their neighborhoods to join the VP for prayers.
You’re to purchase enough bags of sugar for distribution to all participants who join the prayer sessions.
6:00pm: VP joins muslims in the Hohoe neighborhood to break the fast.
For Hohoe, apart from transportation, MCE will provide quantities of assorted fruits, koko, rice water, koose, etc for the break of the fast.
After the prayer sessions the Veep will address the worshippers at all the 3 venues.
Please laise with the Regional and constituency Nasara coordinators.
The Veep’s entourage returns to Ho to spend the night.
