The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a mandatory transition to a cashless payment system, effective immediately, in line with the government’s vision to modernize revenue collection. All user agencies and stakeholders must now process payments exclusively through the GHANA.GOV platform.
Under the new directive, all payments—including the 20% and 10% administrative service charges—must be made digitally, eliminating manual transactions with NSA staff at the district, regional, or headquarters level.
Seamless Digital Payments for Greater Transparency
The move to a cashless system ensures greater transparency, accessibility, and convenience for all stakeholders. Payments can be made anytime, anywhere in Ghana through:
- Website: www.ghana.gov.gh
- USSD Code: Dial *222# on all mobile networks
- NSA Personnel Dashboard: For 10% administrative charges
- HR/Finance Representatives’ Email Invoice: For 20% administrative charges
GHANA.GOV offers multiple payment options, including:
✔ Bank Cards (Debit/Credit)
✔ Mobile Money (*222#)
✔ Online Banking (Internet banking & mobile apps)
✔ QR Code Payments
✔ Direct Account Transfers
✔ SWIFT Transfers (For international payments)
✔ ACH Transfers
A Step Towards a Cashless Economy
The NSA is urging all stakeholders to adopt the new system, emphasizing its role in supporting Ghana’s broader goal of a cashless economy.
