DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE from ORAL is proof of State Capture and Looting of State Lands and Bungalows by high ranking State Officials supported by Lands Commission officials…*
This is the tip of the iceberg.
When Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Woode returned he fraudulently allocated Prime State Land originally acquired for the International Students Hostel to escape removal from office by President John Evans Atta Mills following an Article 146 Petition from a Citizen of La, all these kinds of Land Looting should have been halted as has been done now by President JohnDramani Mahama in the 10th January, 2025 directive to the Lands Commission…
When Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo paid GHc7000 for Prime Cantonments State Land, President Akufo Addo should have acted on the Article 146 Petition for her removal and ordered the investigation and prosecution of those on the list of beneficiaries of the Looting of State Lands provided as an attachment to the petition…
The retrieval of all State Acquired Lands and Bungalows must not be limited to some and not others.
The return of some State Lands and Bungalows to the La Stool must be open, transparent and accountable.
The unconstitutional and fraudulent allocation of State Lands and Bungalows to third-parties must be reversed embloc immediately.
The immediate past Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor confirmed on national television that the people who are revered in our society drive around on weekends looking for State Lands and Bungalows then come to his office to pressure him to allocate these prime lands to them at ridiculous prices.
Samuel Abu Jinapor must be compelled to name all these persons who he alleged coame to his office to pressure him to allocate these prime State Lands to them.
The former Works and Housing Minister, Asenso Boakye indiscriminately allocated State Bungalows to third-parties,this must be immediately investigated.
The immediate past Works and Housing Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah claimed to have compiled the status of all State Bungalows, this database must be audited and published.
*There must be a Judicial Review of the Supreme Court interpretation of Article 20 (5)(6) in the Nii Kpobi Tettey Tsuru III vs Attorney General case which equated “Public Purpose” with “Public Interest” to circumvent the Constitutional requirement to give the original Pre-acquisition Land Owners the right of first refusal and return of Lands whose original purpose of acquisition have changed.*
I commend ORAL especially its Chairman, Hon. Samuel Okujeto Abuakwa for exposing the BNI Boss to restore the credibility of the Taskforce following the denial by the beneficiary State official.
The Private Members Bill being Sponsored by Hon. Samuel Okujeto Ablakwa, however, must not be limited to Public Officials or targeted at Appointees only.
The review of the Constitution must focus on removing any ambiguity in the provisions on State Lands in particular Article 20 (5)(6) and the return of lands to Pre-acquisition Land Owners where the original purpose stated for acquisition changes or no compensation payments have been made.
*The mandatory registration of all Stool lands by their respective Stool Lands Secretariats prior to any Land Transaction becoming lawful per ACT 1036 must be enforced and all transactions done via a designated bank as is the case in all DVLA transactions to eliminate Fraud, Money Laundering, Corruption and Multiple Sale.*
The designated Bank for each Land transaction will guarantee an electronic footprint or paper trail of all Land Transactions.
THE PHENOMENON UNEXPLAINED WEALTH is at the heart of corruption in Ghana and must be immediately tackled.
The Bank of Ghana Governor and his deputies together with those who have taken over the Cantonments Civil Aviation Land must be immediately stopped, investigated, prosecuted and culprits punished to serve as deterrent to others…
Whistleblowers must be encouraged, similarly ORAL must be supported by all if Corruption and Money Laundering is to be eradicated.
*Citizens Arrests are Constitutional and will become the order of the day, if the State refuses to act expeditiously in cases such as the BNI Boss, Governors of the Bank of Ghana, Chief Justices and other high profile personalities involved in the Looting of State Lands and Bungalows.*
STAY TUNED.
