The Eastern Region is set to host a week-long celebration of business, investment, tourism, culture and entertainment, with President John Dramani Mahama expected to attend the Eastern Expo 2026.
The expo, scheduled for Jackson Park in Koforidua from September 26 to October 3, 2026, will bring together entrepreneurs, businesses, producers, service providers, investors and other stakeholders to explore opportunities for trade, partnerships and economic growth.
President Mahama’s participation is expected to add significance to the event as the region showcases its potential in business, tourism, agriculture, culture and other areas of economic activity.
The Eastern Expo will provide businesses and entrepreneurs with an opportunity to showcase their products and services while connecting with local and international companies, investors and potential business partners.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore new markets, establish strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration and sustainable business growth.
Beyond the main exhibition, the week-long event will feature a number of activities aimed at promoting investment, entrepreneurship, youth development, women’s participation in business and tourism.
These will include the Eastern Commodity Satellite Market, Investment Forum, Women in Business Empowerment Forum and Youth Development activities.
The programme will also feature an Indigenous Food Festival, Fashion Showcase, tourism promotion, cultural performances and a Musical Concert.
Organisers say the Eastern Expo 2026 is designed to unlock opportunities for sustainable trade, tourism and investment while positioning the Eastern Region as a vibrant destination for business and tourism.
With President Mahama expected to attend, the expo is also anticipated to attract significant attention from businesses, investors, development partners and members of the public.
