The Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has extended significant support to schools and students in his constituency as part of efforts to enhance education and improve learning conditions.
Over the weekend, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu distributed bunk beds and desks to three Senior High Schools — Moree Senior Technical High School, Aburaman Senior High School, and Abakrampa Senior High School.
The intervention is aimed at alleviating pressure on existing school facilities and creating a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.
In addition to the furniture, the MP also donated trunks, mattresses, and “chop boxes” to students beginning their Senior High School education this academic year. These items are considered essential supplies for students starting boarding school in Ghana.
Mr. Kwakye Ofosu said the initiative forms part of his broader commitment to improving education infrastructure and ensuring that students and schools in the constituency receive the necessary support to thrive.
Beneficiaries, including students, teachers, and parents, expressed their gratitude for the gesture, noting that it would help reduce the financial burden on families and improve student welfare.
The donation reinforces the MP’s dedication to promoting access to quality education and creating better learning conditions across the Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituency.
