President John Dramani Mahama has officially launched the first-ever Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Ghanaian Ambassadors, marking a significant milestone in the country’s diplomatic and foreign policy framework.
The initiative, announced on social media by North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is designed to ensure accountability, efficiency, and measurable outcomes in Ghana’s diplomatic missions across the globe.
According to Mr. Ablakwa, the KPIs will serve as a tool to reset and transform Ghana’s foreign service while creating real opportunities for the country and its citizens. He emphasized that the move represents a bold step towards delivering impactful diplomacy in line with national development goals.
“We shall make sure we deliver impactful diplomacy to reset, transform and create real opportunities for all. For God and Country,” Ablakwa stated.
The launch of the KPIs is expected to strengthen Ghana’s global presence, foster mutually beneficial partnerships, and align foreign policy objectives with the broader vision of national growth and prosperity.
