The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Mr. Osman Abdulai Ayariga Esq., has called on trainee teachers across the country to uphold discipline, integrity, and exemplary conduct in their professional journey.
Speaking to a gathering of young educators, Mr. Ayariga emphasized that teachers are not just conveyors of knowledge, but walking role models whose actions significantly influence the development and mindset of the youth.
He noted that as the first line of mentorship for many children, teachers bear a profound responsibility in shaping the values, attitudes, and aspirations of the next generation. “Your conduct, both in and out of the classroom, leaves lasting impressions. You must embody discipline and integrity because your students look up to you,” he stated.
The NYA CEO’s remarks underscore the Authority’s broader mission of facilitating youth development and preparing young people to contribute meaningfully to national progress.
