Ghanaian actress and media personality Joselyn Dumas has been appointed as the Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.
Her new position will see her working alongside Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), who was named Director of Diaspora Affairs last week. KOD’s appointment was confirmed by Obuobia Darko-Opoku in a Facebook post on February 26, 2025.
Dumas’ inclusion in the team underscores the government’s commitment to deepening engagement with the Ghanaian diaspora. The administration aims to strengthen economic ties, attract investments, and promote cultural collaborations between Ghana and its global community.
With her vast experience in media, entertainment, and advocacy, Joselyn Dumas is expected to bring fresh perspectives to diaspora affairs. Her influence and connections within the global Ghanaian community position her as a key figure in bridging the gap between Ghanaians abroad and the country.
