The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Malik Basintale, alongside his deputies, has conducted an inspection of the agency’s warehouses as part of efforts to ensure accountability and transparency in its operations.

The exercise aimed to verify the accuracy of handover notes received during the leadership transition, ensuring that all assets, resources, and logistics align with documented records. By physically assessing the state of the agency’s resources, the new leadership seeks to make informed decisions that will enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery.

Speaking during the inspection, Malik Basintale emphasized the importance of transparency in governance and assured stakeholders that his administration is committed to upholding high standards of accountability.

“This inspection is not just a routine check but a crucial step in ensuring that we have a clear understanding of what is available and what needs to be improved. We are committed to making YEA more effective and efficient in addressing youth employment challenges,” he stated.

The Youth Employment Agency plays a key role in addressing unemployment issues in Ghana by providing job opportunities and skills development programs for young people. With this commitment to transparency and efficiency, the new leadership aims to strengthen the agency’s impact on Ghana’s youth.
