Renowned actress and politician, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, is set to appear before Parliament’s Appointments Committee today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, as part of the vetting process for her nomination as Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.
The vetting session, a constitutional obligation of Parliament, aims to evaluate the qualifications and suitability of individuals nominated to lead key ministries. Joining Dzifa Gomashie on today’s schedule are Emelia Arthur, nominated for the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, and George Opare-Addo, nominated for the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.
