Julius Debrah, the newly appointed Chief of Staff, has called on Ghanaians to place their trust in President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s ability to fulfil his responsibilities and deliver on his promises.
Debrah emphasized Mahama’s dedication to implementing strategies aimed at improving the country’s economic conditions and addressing the needs of the Ghanaian people.
Speaking at the inauguration of President-elect Mahama at the Black Star Square in Accra on January 7, 2025, Debrah reassured citizens of the administration’s resolve to bring about meaningful change.
“Basically, I want to give everybody hope—it’s hope, hope, and the question is, is it possible? Yes, it’s possible when you have the right people who are determined to make things happen,” Debrah stated, underscoring the optimism and readiness of the new administration to tackle challenges head-on.
Debrah further highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts and strategic leadership in ensuring the government’s vision for economic recovery, job creation, and improved livelihoods is realized.
“And knowing President-elect Mahama, for example when we were in office, almost every week, each minister was supposed to report to him personally. He picks a chat with you and asks you questions as to where you were with an assignment given to you. I believe we are going to go the same way, we’re not going to change from that.”
