Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, has assured the residents of Kenyasi Number One in the Asutifi North Constituency of the timely completion of their road construction project before the upcoming December 2024 elections.
During a recent visit to the community, Dr. Bawumia met with the Chief of Kenyasi Number One and addressed the importance of the road to local residents. He stated that the contractor responsible for the project would soon resume work, with asphalt layering expected to commence shortly.
“I understand how vital the Kenyasi road is for your community,” Dr. Bawumia emphasized. “I’ve spoken with the contractor to guarantee that the project will be finished before the December elections. Within a week, we will lay the first layer, significantly improving the road’s condition. The contractor’s equipment is already on site, and I assure you that we will have the road tarred by December 7.”
In addition to his focus on infrastructure, Dr. Bawumia expressed his dedication to enhancing educational access and quality for all constituents.
This visit marks the second day of Dr. Bawumia’s tour in the Ahafo Region, during which he plans to visit three other constituencies: Asutifi North, Tano North, and Tano South. His itinerary includes meetings with local chiefs, religious leaders, and party supporters, as he outlines his vision for Ghana and seeks their support in the upcoming elections.
