Reputable international airline, Goldstar Air, the wings of Ghana, to provide 24-hour global courier services with the airline’s unique app, phones, electric vehicles, and Okada (Motorbikes), to create job opportunities for the youth.

The 2023 Annual Household Income and Expenditure Survey (AHIES) report has revealed that over Two (2) million young people in Ghana, aged 15-35, are not in education, employment, or training (NEET).

According to the report released by the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), females account for the majority, with 1.2 million compared to 715,691 males. The youth with Nonskilled labor can also take advantage of the airline’s courier services and apply to be part of the collection and delivery team, which can lead to a better life.

Goldstar Air, a registered company in Ghana and the United States, with an issued Air Carrier Licence by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), is awaiting aircraft inspection to operate scheduled and non-scheduled flights to West Africa and Intercontinental, with courier services as an extension of the airline’s cargo department. The 24-hour courier service will prioritize speed and offer same-day or next-day delivery seven days a week and 365 days a year.

Courier services have been around since the days of homing pigeons and foot messengers. It can be tricky to tell the difference between a courier and the local postal service because couriers operate similarly to traditional mail, but Goldstar Air understands both and the concept of letters and packages that are taken from one place to another.

Regular mail is transported and delivered via the public postal service and is typically by government agencies. They handle the sorting and delivering of packages and letters within their home country and, sometimes, abroad. Courier services. on the other hand, are privately owned and operated.

Public postal services ensure that everyday citizens and businesses alike have an easily accessible way to mail letters and packages. Although couriers are privately owned, they can deliver anything the regular mail service can deliver. Courier services also prioritize speed, so they generally offer quicker delivery times compared to postal services.

Courier services offer more specialized services and quicker delivery times, prices are typically higher compared to a postal service. Postal services offer more basic shipping and delivery options, so the costs are generally lower.

Goldstar Air will introduce a 24-hour courier service user-friendly unique app to track packages, schedule pickups, and access delivery information and will have integrated features like real-time tracking, automated updates, and electronic signature upon delivery.

The airline will provide 24/7 customer service support through dedicated phone lines, emails, and WhatsApp channels. The airline will also offer SMS updates on package status and delivery notifications.

Goldstar Air will employ and utilize trained Okada riders for fast and agile delivery services in both congested cities and urban areas. The airline will also equip Okada riders with GPS-enabled devices for real-time tracking and efficient routing for a seamless customer experience.
The airline customers will have access to real-time tracking tools to monitor the progress of their shipments and can benefit from dedicated customer service to answer their questions or resolve any potential issues.

Goldstar Air courier service will always guarantee a high level of security for the transported shipments. The professional courier accompanies the shipment throughout its journey, thereby reducing the risks of loss, theft, or damage.

According to the Chairman and Chief Executive of Goldstar Air Eric Bannerman, the airline has signed an agreement with an Aviation and Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing company and will introduce electric vehicles (EVs) and electric motorbikes (Okada) for the courier services, reducing carbon emissions and operating costs. The airline will also distribute and install electric charges at vantage places, which will include all airports in Ghana, malls, rest stops, and filling stations to enable our fleet to operate consistently and at private homes.

Goldstar Air 24-hour Okada riders and drivers will undergo a background check from the Ghana Police, certification, and training from the airline security department. Airports are busy places with heightened security, controlled access points, unpredictable traffic patterns, and specific regulations, policies, and procedures that govern the pickup and delivery of items, therefore when sending parcels to, from, or within Ghana, it will be vital to use the Goldstar Air courier service unique app.

Electric bikes, or e-bikes (Okada), have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their convenience, sustainability, and health benefits. One of the main components of an e-bike is the battery, which powers the electric motor and allows the bike to function. With Goldstar Air providing electric charging at vantage points around the country for the airline’s courier service e-bikes and the public, it will make the e-bike very effective, because without a charged battery, the e-bikes would not be able to go very far.

A courier is a person or company that delivers products, packages, and documents and specializes in certain types of deliveries. Others offer a wide range of delivery options for

everyday consumers and businesses same-day or next-day. Any day you need to send a birthday present to a friend or ship a package to a customer, you can use Goldstar Air’s 24-hour courier service to get your package where it needs to go.

Goldstar Air’s courier service will focus on nationwide and international delivery and will have the logistics in place that will allow the airline same-day deliveries or options up to a week, depending on priority or where the shipment is picked up and dropped off and operate delivery services 24-hour a day to keep parcels and documents moving, as an extension of Goldstar Air cargo.

The airline’s international deliveries can include shipping between two or multiple countries, therefore Goldstar Air is in talks with some airlines and courier service providers for ground transportation to initially have some partnership that will allow delivery speed between countries.
Goldstar Air delivery routes for legal couriers will be highly optimized to allow for same-day delivery of documents to and from multiple courts, government buildings, and state offices. Documents may include contracts, court papers, and legal tenders.

The airline courier services will have safety features, thorough training procedures, and high-tech logistic services and will work hard to reduce losses and damage while packages are in transit. Businesses can trust their packages are in good hands because Goldstar Air’s courier services reputation will always be on the line.

Goldstar Air will also provide parking services, which can help businesses save time and money at a discounted rate. Our trained staff understand how to pack items because they know what happens when items are being shipped. When you pay for packing services, the fee should cover the necessary specifications and packaging requirements, but when you want to pack your items, our customer support team will advise you on the best methods and provide guidance and tips to keep your items safe while in transit.

Mr. Bannerman emphasized that in 2023, United States couriers and messengers generated 136.6 billion U.S. dollars in operating revenue, therefore, Goldstar Air wants to position Ghana to walk the same path. The airline courier service business plan only is an extension of Goldstar Air’s cargo department and will follow the second-largest private employer and the largest warehouse operator in the United States operational model with 1,541,000 employees and, a massive distribution network with a reported Thirty Billion US Dollars ($30B) in profits in 2023. The airline will be working with manufacturers and online retailers and adapting to various market dynamics through innovation and aggressive marketing and distribution, keeping in mind the cargo department.

Goldstar Air has tremendous power to improve the standard of living for many in Ghana and across the globe, with our over one million job opportunities. The airline has set a standard operational processes in place, which is essential for our business and will help the company ensure necessary work gets done efficiently and effectively, as our defined process blueprint will

describe the preferred way of executing our business activity – and by doing so, it will give guidance to the people doing the work, leaves less room for error and creates a proven recipe for achieving the desired outcome time and over again.

The airline will make a significant contribution to addressing Ghana’s unemployment situation, as the airline is determined to create more job opportunities in the courier services. All the Two hundred and seventy-five (275) constituencies in the sixteen (16) regions in Ghana will benefit enormously from the courier services.

Goldstar Air is currently negotiating with the head of Ghana Post for a partnership aimed at providing innovative and rewarding opportunities for advancement. This partnership will enable us to be more competitive and offer better services to our customers, resulting in a win-win situation.
Our partnership with Ghana Post aims to emulate the strategy of the United States Postal Service, with 525,469 career employees and 114,623 non-career employees as of 2023. United States Postal Service revenue in the most recently reported quarter was $19.8 billion.

Together with Ghana Post, we aim to create, build, and take ownership of our endeavors, whether it involves developing new technology in-house, launching comprehensive fulfillment centers, or constantly creating ideas, services, and products that enhance the lives of millions of customers. This includes offering pickup and delivery services directly to about 360 Ghana Post outlets, with stop-by-stop tracking available 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

RECOMMENDED :  More Gains Ahead: Cedi Expected to Appreciate Again Next Week

With this partnership, Goldstar Air will prioritize Ghana Post cargo to ensure a seamless and frictionless experience, allowing us to focus on growing our businesses and driving year-over-year growth. Cargo revenues are forecasted to rise to $152 billion, representing one-third of the industry’s revenues. In other words, for every 6-passenger aircraft, there is approximately 1 cargo aircraft. As a percentage, 85% of planes are passenger aircraft, while 15% are freighters.
A postal service may sometimes opt to transport some regular mail by air, perhaps because other transportation is unavailable. It is usually impossible to know this by examining an envelope, and such items are not considered “airmail.” Generally, airmail would take a guaranteed and scheduled flight and arrive first, while air-speeded mail would wait for a non-guaranteed and merely available flight and would arrive later than normal airmail.

The mail cargo segment plays a pivotal role in the worldwide postal and parcel delivery network. It guarantees the prompt delivery of letters, documents, and packages to their intended destinations. Air freight handles approximately 328 billion letters and 7.4 billion packages annually, making mail cargo the most significant percentage of air shipment loads.

The continent possesses the resources to make significant economic strides, and the Africa Continental Free Trade Area aims to eliminate trade barriers, representing a significant

opportunity for Africa to assert itself on the global economic stage. Therefore, the airline has introduced Afrik Allianz, a multi-model single air transportation alliance connecting Africa and beyond to generate sustainable job opportunities for Africans to connect businesses on the continent and to capitalize on the opportunity presented by the Africa Continental Free Trade Area, with a staggering 44 million Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) across Africa. Economic developers consider airlines vital to generating local and economic growth. Ho Industrial Zone viability will be an economic generator for the Volta Region and Ghana. Hajj flights to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will open more doors to Volta and Upper West regional capitals, as connecting rural and smaller communities to global commerce, helps businesses expand, and attracts new companies, to the area.

Tamale will serve as a pivotal hub for our airline’s maintenance, cargo, and training school and plans are underway to operate international passenger flights to and from the Sahel region and Hajj flights to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Goldstar Air will initially operate flights from Kumasi to Rome, Madrid, Hamburg, London, Dusseldorf, and Milan.

Also, flights from Accra shall include destinations such as Washington, Dubai, Lagos, Toronto, Monrovia, Conakry, Abidjan, Guangzhou, Dakar, Banjul, Rhode Island, London, and Freetown and pending cities such as Miami-Florida, Atlanta-Georgia, Chicago-Illinois, Glasgow-Scotland, Houston-Texas and many more.
