Nana Addo pencils ‘Sir John’ as GPHA boss

Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John has been pencilled for the vacant position of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) Director-General.

President Nana Akufo-Addo on Monday asked the former D-G, Mr Richard Anamoo to step aside and according to reports, he has Mr Owusu-Afriyie in mind to fill the position.

According to a Graphic Online report, Mr Owusu-Afriyie would be acting in the new role until a new Board of Directors said to be chaired by Mr Peter Mac Manu was constituted.
